Luke Update

Luke has severe injuries on his back and crushed the bones in his legs. The doctors are doubtful that he will walk again. Please continue to pray for this young man and his family.

Heavy Hearts

We had a wonderful family in our neighborhood that moved away. The mother had died about 5 years ago of cancer. My children loved to hang out with one of the boys, named Luke. Luke lived with his father, who delivered the morning newspapers to the carriers homes in the early morning hours. Last Saturday, Luke was driving his dad through the route. Dad had fallen asleep, and eventually Luke dozed off also. Luke crashed into a semi-truck. His father was killed instantly and Luke was seriously injured. He will probably be in the hospital for several months and possibly has brain damage. Luke's older brother is devastated by the death of his father and blames Luke. Please pray for Luke's recovery and the healing of family relationships.
