It was 60 degrees at midnight! All the snow has melted from my backyard. The forgotten sled, slide, and two shovels are a visible reminder that the kids don't pick up their things.
The wind howled all night, so most of the puddles are gone. The strong wind also destroyed the padding that covers the springs on the trampoline. I'm going to throw out the padding, but won't replace it until spring.
The temperature has been dropping since midnight and it now about 30 degrees. Our new puppy doesn't like the cold. When we take him outside to take care of business, he stands on the top step and whines to be let in. The boys have to carry him to the kennel, where he is supposed to use "go" because he won't leave the top step. Silly dog!
