Paige on her new bike. She's losing the training wheels in a week or so, but we haven't told her that yet.
One of my "dazzling" decorative cakes. They always taste good, but a cake decorator has skills I will never master.
Paige had a really good day. Mike was able to take the day off of work. My mom felt well enough to come over for dinner and presents. We took the kids to Jungle Joe's and then to lunch at Paige's favorite restaurant, Old Country Buffet.

And stop your fretting over cake decorating - that cake looks great! It might not be what your are thinking it *should* look like, but your kids love every piece of their birthday cake.
