On May 2, Joe was confirmed at Peace Lutheran Church in Otsego. There were 2 children in his class. The week before confirmation, the two classmates were examined before the congregation. Joe tends to get very nervous speaking before groups of people. After the service, I complimented him on how calm and collected he appeared. Joe responded that his hands were really sweaty.
My nephew was also confirmed on May 2, so we postponed Joe's party until May 16. Everyone that we invited was able to attend and we were able to see family members that we haven't seen in a while. The weather was beautiful.
