My almost 14-year old son managed to snag a paper route Tuesday. He's so excited to have a steady income again. It's not surprising that he was the first of my children to find a job after our move earlier in the year. He's been extremely enterprising at discovering ways to earn spending money.
The woman who picked him up to show him the new route was happy to learn that he's homeschooled. She is considering homeschooling her daughter next year. Her daughter is the same age as Joe. The mom will probably come by one day soon to talk about homeschooling and to look at some of the materials we own.
