Pot Pie
I was scrounging in the refrigerator for dinner a couple of days ago looking for dinner inspiration. There were two pork steaks, two regular steaks, 1 drumstick, and a plethora of assorted vegetables. Time to clean out the refrigerator! I combined all the assorted meats, threw in the assorted vegetables, added 1 16 oz. package of frozen broccoli, and 2 1/2 cups of left over chicken gravy. My 10 year old made up a double crust pie recipe, which we used to cover our large casserole dish. We baked it for 50 minutes at 375 degrees. My 11 year old made a huge salad, while my 10 year old made blueberry crisp. It was a delicious meal. I wasn't too sure about the various types of meats going together, but the combination was really tasty.
