Did You Really Mean to Say That?

Our local station uses the phrase "and News X opens the door" when the are promoting an in-depth story. While watching the news yesterday, there was a teaser for Thursday's newscast. At the end of the teaser the announcer said, "Child pornography finds a foothold in west Michigan and News X opens the door!" Did they really do that?
