Wii Fit

My in-laws sent money for me to purchase presents for the kids at Christmas time. One of the family gifts was going to be a Wii Fit. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find one in our area. We've been looking since December and finally were able to purchase one on Sunday.

The Wii will allow 8 people to have a profile. Since there are 9 people in our family, the two youngest girls are sharing one account. The profile charts the players BMI, weight, and provides a fitness age. I think the fitness age is skewed by balance and posture. My fitness age is 2 years younger than my actual age. My husband's fitness age is 2 years older than his actual age and he's in better physical shape than I.

I'm really pleased at the game. There are a variety of exercises and games, each person can pick a goal to work towards, and the way the game is organized allows some friendly competition to spur on players. I am the current ski jump, yoga, and step champ! We've been enjoying the game and I'm getting some much needed extra exercise each day.
