We have had almost a whole week of spring-like temperatures. Every morning we wake up to a hard frost, but before noon the temperature is in the low 50's. The children have had so much fun playing with friends and being outside for long hours again. My youngest two have a hard time deciding what are the correct type of clothing to wear outside. Allie wanted to go barefoot today. After being told that it is still to cold to be barefoot, she went outside dressed like this.
Paige and Allie spend a lot of time digging in the sand/dirt underneath the sandbox. I'm so thankful that the ground has dried enough so they aren't playing in mud.
The kids were doing a lot of Wii Fit before the weather cleared up. One of the favorite "training exercises" was to walk the tightrope. When the rain and snow ended, Steve decided to tight rope the top of the swing set. After applauding his balancing skills, I found him something more constructive to do.
