It's finally happened! I'm done painting at the new house. At least until Mike finished the mudding in the family room. The current tally of paint is 16 gallons of primer, 1 quart of semi-gloss exterior, 8 gallons of white paint, 10 gallons of assorted colors of satin wall paint. Somehow it seems like there should be more paint used. Overall, I'm really happy with the color choices and the final results in the rooms. I'd be happier if Katie painted her trim white, but it's her room, so the trim will stay black.
Mike is hoping to complete mudding the dry wall this week, so I should be able to finish the painting next weekend. I'll post pictures after we have the carpeting installed.
We called and ordered internet, phone, and cable service yesterday. It's been several years since we had cable. I'm really excited to have cable in time for the Olympics.

Wow Karen I am so excited for you. You're done and you get cable. Now you will be able to see some of the shows you like. Can't wait to see your house pictures. You said Katie painted her ceiling white, right? Well that will help. It is all going to be so pretty when you get done. You all need a breather about now.
