My sister-in-law was going to throw out several partially used spiral notebooks. My mother-in-law thought that I would put them to good use and brought them to me. The kids and I spent part of this afternoon making new covers for the notebooks. The children chose paper from my scrapbook supplies. The paper was glued onto the original covers.
The notebooks will be used for subjects that never need a full notebook's worth of paper during a school year. Here are our results. I was pleased with the results and the kids are excited about their personalized notebooks. Craftier people could probably get better results by using embellishments.
