Yesterday was my birthday. Don't ask how old I am. I don't feel nearly as old as I am. In celebration of the "big" day, Mike took the day off of work. Amy didn't have to work or go to her internship either. It was wonderful having everyone around. We packed everyone into two vehicles and headed off to the Battle Creek area to visit some places that the younger children haven't seem in a long time. While we were enjoying the Bird Sanctuary and Kellogg Forest, we were able to snag several letter boxes.
As a special treat, Mike and I brought home Steve's Pizza, which is a family favorite. I managed to maintain my diet throughout the day, even with the temptation of birthday cake, celebration M & M's, and pizza. Yay me!
