We had beautiful weather for the first day of school, breezy, warm, and sunny. What more could a mom ask? The younger two girls completed all their work in 1-1/2 hours. They loved doing reading, history, and science on the front porch! Mike was home, so after the younger girls were finished, they were allowed to play with him outside. They also got to help empty out the pool.
The older three students worked so diligently that they were done with their assignments by 1:00pm. The weather was so nice that Mike and I took everyone to a park to play. We also managed to collect two letterboxes before hurrying home for Katie's driver's test.
I know that there will be good and bad days this school year, but it's so nice when we get off to a great start!
