Exercise

I'm bummed. Due to an injury, my Monday night walking buddy is out for the rest of the summer. Each Monday night, she would call me on her cell phone and we would talk while walking. That Monday walk always encouraged me to continue walking on my own the rest of the week. I was walking over 12 miles a week. My husband was even walking with me one morning later in the week. I need to come up with a new plan to get me moving. The exercise has been so good for my blood pressure and my attitude. The children's petty annoyances don't bother me when I get my exercise. It might be time to bring out the big guns. Last summer, my oldest son got me out of bed each morning an took me bike riding. He's very fit and active, so after working out with him, I'm sore.

I'm missing it, too!

Hopefully, hopefully, there will be some walking weather in the fall before it gets too cold, and we can walk again!

I felt so bad when I learned that you had aggravated your injury last Monday! I pray that you heal quickly and completely this time. Sometimes, it's just necessary to rest an injury.
