Fourth of July

We woke up to beautiful weather: clear skies, gentle breezes, moderate temperatures, low humidity. This was the view of the skies from my front yard.




I took the children to my mom's home for the 4th of July. My poor husband had to work until 7:00pm. My mom had prepared chicken and hot dogs and all the required side dishes. One of my sisters prepared star shaped cookies in red, white and blue.

These are my youngest two nephews. They were born within 1 month of each other.
Here are my youngest two girls playing on my mom's tire swing.

The annual Crochet Match. I won the Oldsters' Round. One of my nephews won the Youngsters' Round.
