When we awoke this morning, we were greeted with sunny skies. What a wonderful sight. The temperature is slightly above freezing, so the accumulated snow is continuing to melt. Joe and Steve were given the task of moving all the lawn furniture that we had placed on the front porch to the deck, after they removed the snow from the deck.
We had moved another moving truck load of stuff from the other house yesterday and the inside of the house is a wreck. My dining room is not even passable. While I was working on the stacks of boxes, there was laughter to be heard from the backyard. I walked over to the door and saw Joe shoveling snow onto the back steps. That's right...onto the steps. Steve was piling snow about 10' from the bottom of the stairs to make a ramp. The two boys grabbed their snowboards and slid down the back steps across the patio and over the ramp. They had worked so hard yesterday, I didn't have the heart to tell them to get their work done. Instead I grabbed the camera and caught some of the action.
